Our March Joybird Ambassador, Annie Greenberg, is no stranger to cutting-edge style. Take a peek into her serene space in the midst of bustling Brooklyn, New York.
It’s hard not to be impressed with Annie Greenberg. A Refinery29 superstar, Annie served as the senior fashion editor for years, developing a reputation for always knowing what’s on trend, what’s about to become a trend, and most impressively, why. Lately, she is breaking new ground in producing videos using 360 imaging and virtual reality to tell compelling stories from all over the world. It’s safe to say she is girl-bossing it with the best of them. She’s constantly on the move and travels to all corners of the planet, but that’s perhaps why her home life has an even greater significance.
With such a demanding and fast-paced career, Annie’s apartment, in the heart of Prospect Heights Brooklyn, needed to serve as a refuge; a place to recharge and relax. “To have a peaceful place in the middle of this really crazy city; it’s everything to me,” she explains. While her space certainly has a chill-vibe, her vivacious personality, sense of fashion, and love of travel shine through in the details.
Your home should be a reflection of who you are and how you live.
A fan of mixed textures, materials, and styles, Annie’s space achieves a laid back quality while still brimming with sophistication and warmth. The apartment includes plenty of personal touches, adding meaning and depth to the space. “Every thing in here has a story,” Annie shares, and whether she is kicking back with a book, watching TV, or doing yoga in her Brooklyn bungalow, it’s clear that she’s created the perfect place to come home to after a shoot.
