How Much Does a Tiny Home Cost?
Here’s a little-known fact about the Joybird team – we love tiny homes. They are stylish, innovative, and surprisingly functional. What’s more, you have to find new and inventive ways to be pretty savvy in order to fit a lot of style into a 350 sqft space.
If you’re looking to buy a house in some of the most desirable locations throughout the country, you may find that you’ll have to save for a while to afford a sizeable down payment. In light of that, we wondered if it was possible to beat the system with a tiny home.
What if, instead of buying an existing home in these desirable places, you could buy land and build a tiny home instead? How much money would you actually need to save in order to do that?
To find this out we priced out an average tiny home and then scoured real estate listings to find the cheapest plots of lands available for sale as well as the cheapest houses available on the market to find out how much you can save.
