The weather is getting warmer and the nights are getting longer, which
means that we get to enjoy more time outdoors. We love this time of year
because it gives people the chance to utilize their beautiful and stylish
outdoor furniture that’s been hiding all winter.
Outdoor furniture has had a unique style revolution over the past several
years. Interior Design trends are making their way to the exterior world as
we are seeing more and more, outdoor furniture being designed in similar
silhouettes as indoor furniture. It’s a great thing to see so many people
are using them interchangeably in a wide variety of spaces so we wanted to
share a few of our favorites.
Below are three trends that are hitting the design world this year. Are you
incorporating any of them with your indoor and outdoor furniture?
Recliners are synonymous with comfort but have not always been deemed as stylish home decor. But, luckily, the days of the huge vintage recliners fit for our grandfathers are gone. Now, recliners are being made in various types of silhouettes so they can fit into any room, including your backyard. Outdoor reclining lounges bring a homey feeling to your backyard, allowing you to soak up the sun in comfort and style.
Chaise lounges are making a huge comeback in the interior design scene.
They are highly functional and ultra comfortable, making them a perfect
addition to any space. When they are used outdoors, they look like a chic lawn chair, and who doesn’t love an excuse to get a tan while simultaneously being comfortable? Sounds like a win/win to us.
While gathering together with your loved ones is not a new trend, the spaces where they take place are starting to evolve. People are becoming more conscious of the types of furniture they need to host groups of people on and how they’ll look and fit in their homes. This has caused them to add more stylish and comfortable seating options inside and outside of their homes. The new emphasis on style as well as comfort has been making a huge impact on the design world and we’re excited to see where it will take the industry.
