7 Tips for Princess Playtime
aka Mother/Daughter Time
1 Schedule time for a play date. You can even make your daughter an invitation for a mommy and me play day!
2 Make a dress up box of crowns, boas, white gloves, dresses and tea party essentials.
3 Put together a snack for the two of you to enjoy with fun drinks. My daughter is always hungry and I am always thirsty! Or you can go out and get frozen yogurt or ice cream as princesses!
4. Turn on some fun music, Harper and I love to sing and dance together!
5 Put your phone DOWN!
6 Let your daughter decide who she wants to dress up as and who she wants you to be. Sometimes during our playdates, she likes to switch costumes or characters, where she is the mommy and I am the baby. I believe in child-led playtime as much as possible!
7 If you must, snap a few pictures or videos but try to keep your phone away so she knows you are fully paying attention to her.
