Best Cities for Interior Design in the U.S. in 2017
At Joybird, we love collaborating with interior designers to help design the perfect space for their clients. In order to be successful at interior design, it’s helpful to be in a design-forward city that continues to push the design envelope and provide inspiration for its designers. But what are the most design forward cities in the US?
To answer that question, we recently conducted a data study to identify the top 50 cities for interior designers based on various design-related criteria. The next time you’re looking for help on a designer project, you might want to check out an interior designer in one of these cities!
After crunching the numbers, the data revealed that Washington, D.C. is the top city for interior designers. Rounding out the top ten were four Southern cities: Atlanta, Jacksonville, Orlando, and Miami; and other cities scattered across the US: Seattle, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, St. Louis, and Boston.
We also wanted to recognize the many design-forward cities that didn’t quite make the mark for the top 10, but are still great places for interior designers. You can check out the comprehensive top 50 list below.
